Queen cheered on visit to RAF Marham

As honorary air commodore, the Queen visits the west Norfolk airbase every other year, and meets personnel and families and receives an update on the station’s activities.
She was greeted by station commander, Group Captain Richard Davies, who said: “Her Majesty certainly seemed to enjoy her day with us and she took time to speak to all those she met. It was an honour to host Her Majesty in her 90th year and the start of Marham’s centenary year.”
After lunch in the officers’ mess, The Queen left after receiving a posy from Sasha Nutley, four, and a farewell message from Albert Hornsby, eight.
