Russian Shipbuilders to Launch Fifth Project 636.3 Submarine Veliky Novgorod on March 17

The fifth Project 636.3 conventional submarine Veliky Novgorod designed for the Black Sea Fleet will be put afloat in St. Petersburg in northwest Russia on March 17, a source in the Russian Navy Main Staff told TASS on Tuesday. The sixth Project 636.3 conventional submarine Kolpino will be floated out in May, the source added.
