The RAF deployed Brimstone missiles for first time as it carried out several strikes against Islamic State militants in Syria on Sunday, a Downing Street spokesperson has said.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the advanced radar-guided weapon lies at low level, using its on-board navigation systems to distinguish between valid and non-valid targets.
